Description of Classes

L1: Inicio - Bachata Basics If you have never danced Bachata or you had a pause or you dance not long, this is the class to start with. In 9 weeks, you will learn basic Bachata movement, partnerwork principles, turns, hand movements, footwork patterns and basics of Sensual.

L2: Bachata Original & Sensual Bachata is cultural heritage from Dominican Republic. Join this class to learn the original Bachata: how to connect to music, partner, how to move the hips and body. At the same time, learn Sensual moves to decorate your Bachata. We invite you to honor cultural richness of original Bachata, while promoting your personal expression and connection to Spanish Sensual.

L2: Bachata Fusion: Sensual, BachaTango and more Global Bachata Styles started with Sensual branded by Korke & Judith, by fusing Bachata with Zouk & Kizomba. Decade later, Bachata (in Global version) took form distinct from original Bachata by enriching its moves with other dance styles (Salsa, Tango, Ballroom, Hip Hop…). Explore exciting moves of various Bachata Fusions (Sensual, BachaTango, Ballroom Bachata…).

L3: Bachata Sensual & BachaZouk Main focus is detailed technique of Bachata Sensual (by Korke & Judith) and basics of Zouk for BachaZouk Style. Sensual & Zouk movements are those which often catch the eyes of new Bachateros, learn it well to stay healthy and fully enjoy.

  • Tuesday 18:45-19:45 (+ 15 min practice) - L1: Bachata Beginners "Inicio" (Jamil & Yani)
  • (from May) Wednesday 18:45-19:45 (+ 15 min practice) - L2: Bachata Original & Sensual (Mauritius & Rubí)
  • Thursday 19:00-20:00 (+ 15 min practice): L2: Bachata Fusion - Sensual, BachaTango and more (Mauritius & Markéta)
  • Friday 18:45-19:45 (+ 15 min practice) - L1: Bachata Beginners "Inicio" (Nico & Yani)

  • You can start anytime - you do not need to wait until a certain date (our lessons are ongoing)
  • You can register solo, no need to register with a partner (we change partners during lessons)
  • You can register in couples, too (you can choose if you wish to change partners or not)
  • With Passes, you can choose to attend any class you wish (respecting the level)
  • In special cases (work trip, planned holiday), we can agree to prolong 8 weeks pass by 1-2 weeks if communicated well in advance. Month Unlimited Pass is not possible to prolong.
